Wild in the Trees Music and Skate Festival Returns October 4th

Wild in the Trees Music and Skate Festival returns October 4, bringing live music and skateboarding contests to the Lake George Skate Plaza.
Presented by Mirth Films, this year’s annual Wild in the Trees Music and Skate Festival is celebrating 10 years of the Skate Plaza. Now in its third year, the festival continues to pay homage to all fundraising efforts dedicated to the construction and development of the Lake George Skate Plaza and embraces the musical talents of the region and beyond.
This year’s music festival lineup features a variety of genre-bending live artists performing throughout the day for festivalgoers. Taking the Wild in the Trees stage is roots rock, folk & roll band Chestnut Grove, garage, punk and surf rock combination band The Sugar Hold and progressive rock, reggae and Hip Hop fusion group known for their edgy blending of genres, Capital Zen.
Also performing at this year’s festival is audience focused, modern rock, 80s and pop band SHU, four-piece punk rock group The Hauntings as well as rap artist and music producer Antwon Levee.
In addition to live performances, Wild in the Trees will also be holding several skateboarding contests throughout the day including Best Trick, Jam Style, High Ollie and Game of Skate, with prizes available for winners.
Lake George Skate Plaza is a skate park in Lake George’s Charles R. Wood Park that opened in 2015. Daily hours are 9 am until dusk, weather permitting.
