vivo launches Y300i with a huge battery

The vivo Y300i is official, and it is everything we expected it to be. The device appeared on the China Telecom website last week, where the full specs sheet was revealed.
This new phone comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and one of the biggest batteries in the vivo portfolio.
The front of Y300i is a 6.68” LCD with HD+ resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm chip is coupled with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, while storage is 256 GB or 512 GB.
There are two cameras on the back, with the main one being 50 MP with an f/1.8 aperture in front. The selfie shooter is 5 MP, tucked behind a punch hole.
The phone comes with Android 15, but since it is being launched in China, it has the domestic-only OriginOS user interface on top.
The battery capacity is 6,500 mAh and supports 44W wired charging, but there is no wireless or reverse charging.
The vivo Y300i comes in Black, Titanium, and Blue. The starting price is CNY 1,499 (about $205), with the first sale scheduled for Friday, March 14.
