New York City’s newest food hall debuted in Union Square last week. Time Out Market opened on the ground floor of 124 East 14th Street, an office building and tech hub known as Zero Irving. Smaller than Time Out Market’s Dumbo location, the 10,000-square-foot Manhattan market features seven kitchens, a full-service bar, an outdoor terrace, a stage for performances, and an impressive vendor line-up, including Patty Palace by James Beard Award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi, Kebabwala by Unapologtic Foods, pastries from Chef Daniel Boulud’s Épicerie Boulud, and more.

Time Out Market’s new Union Square location is the brand’s 13th site globally, and the second in New York, following the 24,000-square-foot Dumbo market, which opened in 2019. Described as a “neighborhood market,” the new spot will have a stronger focus on “local up-and-coming culinary and cultural talent,” and feature screens showcasing recommendations from Time Out New York experts on things to do nearby.

“Time Out Market New York, Union Square is a celebration of outstanding local culinary talents spanning diverse influences and flavors. Each of our Markets around the world features a curated mix of the city’s best talents–this, too, is at the heart of our Union Square site,” Virginia Rector-Birbal, VP US Time Out Markets, said in a statement.

“Compared to our existing larger flagships, this is our first smaller neighborhood Market, dedicated to highlighting rising talents alongside local favorites as well as emerging home-grown artists, and to being a space for the local community to come together, from people living and working in this neighborhood, students from nearby universities, or visitors wanting to experience local food and culture.”

Vendors include:

The bar will feature signature cocktails, local and craft beers, a wine list, and a range of non-alcoholic options.

Time Out Market New York, Union Square will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
