Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian drops 4-word reaction about Commanders head coach Dan Quinn & GM Adam Peters
Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts on Washington Commanders’ head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Adam Peters. A devoted fan of the NFL team, Ohanian summed up his feelings with a concise four-word reaction.
On Sunday, January 5, the Commanders clinched the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoffs with a 23-19 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The team wrapped up their season on a high note, riding a five-game winning streak to finish with an impressive 12-5 record.
This victory is particularly significant, marking the first time since 1991 that the Commanders have achieved 12 wins in a single season. Following a disappointing 4-13 record last year, they have made an incredible turnaround this season under the guidance of general manager Adam Peters and newly appointed head coach Dan Quinn.
On Monday, January 6, the former Reddit co-founder shared his admiration on X (formerly known as Twitter) for Quinn and Peters, applauding their commendable efforts to the Commanders’ recent success.
“Hell of a job,” he wrote.
Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian admits mistake regarding Dan Quinn
Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, admitted he was wrong about his initial thoughts on hiring Dan Quinn as the head coach of the Washington Commanders. Quinn officially joined the team on February 3, 2024.
On December 30, the American entrepreneur admitted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he underestimated the Commanders’ remarkable turnaround under Dan Quinn’s leadership.
“Also I was totally wrong about the Dan Quinn signing – I had zero expectation for a turnaround like this in one season,” he said.
Quinn made history with the Washington Commanders by becoming their first head coach to secure over ten wins in his debut season. Together with General Manager Adam Peters, he made a bold statement in the 2024 NFL Draft by selecting quarterback Jayden Daniels as the second overall pick.
Their decision paid off as rookie QB Daniels delivered the game-winning score for the Commanders in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons on December 30, securing the team’s spot in the playoffs.
Later in the day, Ohanian took to X to congratulate the Washington Commanders on their victory, giving special recognition to Daniel’s contribution.
“LFG. It wasn’t pretty but we did it. Great job @Commanders and @JayD__5 just putting it on his back we have our QB and we have a playoff berth,” he wrote.
