Planning For Your Digital Legacy

Friends of Albany Rural Cemetery will host Carla Sofka for a conversation about planning for your “digital legacy.” Everyone should consider what happens with your digital assets, from digital photos and social media accounts to e-mails to anything that lives in the digital world.
This presentation will raise awareness about why this is important, help you to think about what you need to do to plan for your digital assets, teach you about resources that can assist with this process, and educate you about “digital afterlife services.”
This event will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 1 pm at the Albany Rural Cemetery Chapel, 68 Cemetery Avenue in Albany, NY.
The cost for this in-person event is $20. Tickets are available online here.
Albany Rural Cemetery was established October 7, 1844, in Menands, just outside the city of Albany. Renowned as one of the most beautiful, pastoral cemeteries in the United States, its over 400 acres include the last resting places of many historical figures.
