New Fiction Novel Set in the Finger Lakes

Fearing for her safety, she screams at the delivery man. Her second sight of him leaves her breathless but in a different way. With her fragile emotions, she attempts to join the small community, continually bumping into that same man. Even though he’s charming and attractive, she’s determined not to get involved.

A year ago Nathan Newman, scarred inside and out, found himself at his sister’s cabin. His nightmares frustrate him, but he is determined to find peace and tranquility with living alone for the rest of his life.

Catching sight of a beautiful woman admiring him, he’s touched, but undeterred. As he slowly sees and gets to know her, he can’t help but nurse a hope that maybe he could share his life with someone after all.

Sophia and Nathan can’t deny their attraction, but they fight against it, their resolutions intact. It takes a blizzard, a trial and locked in a bed and breakfast to break through their insecurities.

AG Jerome is a pseudonym for an Upstate New York writer who is inspired by the beauty and majesty of the Finger Lakes, the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, and the Adirondack Mountains.
