Lava Prowatch X arrives with an AMOLED screen, IP68 rating, and up to 10-day battery life

As promised, Lava unveiled the Prowatch X today as the fourth member of its smartwatch lineup, joining the Prowatch ZN, Prowatch VN, and Prowatch V1.

The Lava Prowatch X has an aluminum alloy frame with a sandblasted and oxidized finish, and it packs a 1.43″ circular always-on AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display has a 466×466-pixel resolution, 500 nits brightness, and supports 100+ watch faces.

The smartwatch is powered by the Actions ATS3085C chipset and supports over 100 sports modes. It also comes with sleep tracking, VO2 Max, heart rate variability monitoring, and SpO2 monitoring (manual and automatic). Additionally, it comes with a feature called Body Energy Monitoring, which monitors the heart rate variability, stress levels, sleep quality, and daily activity to “gauge energy reserves in real time.”

Other highlights of the Lava Prowatch X include an in-built GPS, an in-built ambient sound sensor, Bluetooth calling, and women’s health tracking. The smartwatch is IP68-rated and can be used when swimming.

Fueling the Lava Prowatch X is a 300 mAh battery that is advertised to offer up to 10 days of autonomy in normal usage. The smartwatch has Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity and works with Android and iOS devices.

The Prowatch X has a launch price of INR4,499 ($52/€50) and you get a two-year warranty and three strap options – silicone, nylon, and metal. It’s up for pre-orders in India through Flipkart until February 18, with sales commencing on February 21.
