Led by Putnam History Museum Board Chair Mark Forlow, guests will embark on a journey through the history of gin, from its origins in the Netherlands and England to its present-day local production. With passion and extensive expertise, Forlow will share how gin evolved into the beloved cocktail staple we know today.

Guests will enjoy four distinct gin cocktails, each crafted to highlight the complexities and nuances of this timeless spirit. Complementary food will also be served to round out the tasting experience.

And there’s even more to toast — April 26 marks the anniversary of Sybil Ludington’s legendary midnight ride in 1777. Often referred to as Putnam County’s Paul Revere, Ludington rallied the local militia to fight against British forces during the Revolutionary War.

Tickets for this event are limited. To register and for more information, visit www.putnamhistorymuseum.org.
