Deals: Google Pixel 9 Pro XL price drops to new low, iPhone 15 and 15 Plus also get cheaper

Last week we looked at the flagship rosters from Samsung and Google. Samsung’s phones are no longer on sale, but Google’s are – and their prices have even gone down.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL was $950/$1,050 for the 128/256GB model. This week these same capacities are now $100 cheaper, meaning that the XL is the same price as the respective Google Pixel 9.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro prices haven’t moved much since last week. The Pro and Pro XL differ mainly in the size of their screen and battery, so pick the one that suits you best. Need help deciding? Check out our Google Pixel 9 Pro vs. 9 Pro XL comparison.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro price is also remaining constant, sitting at $200 below the same-sized Pro model. We have a Pixel 9 vs. 9 Pro article that goes over the pros and cons of each.

For an even cheaper option, the Google Pixel 8a starts at $400 and the upgrade to 256GB storage is only $60.

Horizontal foldables remained pricey throughout 2024 and even with a $300 discount, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold starts at $1,500. Maybe next year prices will be lower.

We switch from Amazon to Best Buy and from Google to Apple. The company is not known for its discounts, especially on current models, but last year’s vanilla models get an extra $50 off their already discounted price.

Those are the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. They don’t have the cool camera control and won’t be getting Apple Intelligence like their 16-series siblings. There are a few other important differences when it comes to performance and charging – here is how the iPhone 15 and 16 stack up against each other. We also have a detailed head-to-head comparison between the iPhone 15 Plus and 16 Plus.

Finally, the prices of the new and improved Apple Watch Series 10 have gone down as well and they are now basically on par with the Series 9 models. Unlike with the iPhones, there’s not much to compare here – the Series 10 is easily the better pick, even for a few bucks more.
