Brad Paisley Announces ‘Truck Still Works’ Tour

Brad Paisley is returning to the road this spring with his Truck Still Works World Tour, named after a nostalgic new single that revisits the themes of his 2003 hit “Mud on the Tires.”

The 20-date tour kicks off May 21 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and concludes in Arcadia, Wisconsin on Aug. 8. Walker Hayes will open throughout the tour, and Avery Anna, Mae Estes, and Alexandra Kay will also alternate as openers across different dates.

Paisley will make his debut appearances at two historic venues during this run: Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 24 and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on June 6.

Paisley’s fan club members get first access to tickets March 4 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will be available through Verizon Access and for Citi cardholders before the general public sale begins March 7 via the singer’s official website.

“Truck Still Works” continues the story from “Mud on the Tires,” with the song’s characters reconnecting years later with the same trusty pickup truck serving as their romantic getaway vehicle. Paisley performed the song on NBC’s People’s Choice Country Awards last fall.

Paisley was recently part of the all-star opening performance of “I Love L.A.” at the Grammys, joining Dawes, Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, John Legend, and St. Vincent.
