The latest episode of the Lake George Battlefield Moments podcast features the first of a two-part interview with New York Almanack contributor Jack Kelly, author of God Save Benedict Arnold (2023) and Valcour: The 1776 Campaign That Saved the Cause of Liberty (2021).
Both books explored key aspects of Arnold’s military exploits during the American Revolution. On the podcast, Kelly highlights some of the contributions made to the Patriot cause by Arnold before his notorious defection to the British and shares potential explanations for his changing sides.
He also discusses his work-in-progress about Thomas Paine, which he hopes to have published by early 2026.
