An Albany Restoration Faire and Repair Cafe

Historic Albany Foundation will be hosting its annual Restoration Faire and Repair Café on Sunday, June 8, from 1 until 4 pm at the Albany Elks Club, located at 28 South Allen Street in Albany. This event is an opportunity for community members to seek advice and insights from industry experts on topics related to historic restoration and preservation.
Whether you have questions about techniques for maintaining your historic home or are curious about best practices in preserving architectural integrity, knowledgeable professionals will be on hand to guide you.
In addition to educational resources and expert consultations, the Repair Café offers a unique chance for individuals with broken items — big or small — to bring them along and receive assistance from skilled Repair Coaches.
If you’ve been putting off fixing that cherished item or simply have a curiosity about repairs — this is the perfect occasion to get some help.
