Albany’s Spanish Revival Style Homes

Historic Albany Foundation’s Walkabout Wednesday Tour on Wednesday, August 20th will feature the 1920s custom Spanish revival style bungalows on Rosemont Avenue in Albany led by tour guide Lorraine Weiss, Education Coordinator for the Shaker Heritage Society.
Historic Albany Foundation preserves and protects buildings that have architectural, historic or civic value, by providing technical assistance, education, advocacy and also operates a Architectural Salvage Warehouse.
The Warehouse, located at 89 Lexington Avenue in Albany, stocks old doors, windows, furniture, hardware, light fixtures, bath tubs, sinks, mantels and more. It’s open Wednesdays from noon until 6 pm, Fridays from noon until 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am until 4 pm.
