The Garden Trailhead is reached by turning west from Route 73 onto Adirondack Street which turns into Johns Brook Lane. When it’s open, the parking lot has a capacity of around three dozen cars and is located about two miles from Route 73 at the end of Interbrook Way.

A parking fee of $5 per day helps to maintain winter plowing, upkeep and pay weekend attendants. When the lot reopens it can also be accessed by a seasonal shuttle to and from the southwest corner of Marcy Field. Further details regarding parking/shuttle rates are located here.

The town of Keene also maintains a webpage of tips for accessing the High Peaks from Keene Valley here.
