The Mabee Farm Arts & Crafts Festival returns on August 23, featuring 70+ local artisans selling their hand-crafted wares, including include jewelry, home decor, fine art, ceramics, artisan foods, soaps, candles, woodworking, and more on the banks of the Mohawk River in Schenectady County, NY.
“This is my 12th year putting on this event,” says Mary Zawacki Graves, executive director at SCHS. “I look forward to it all year. We’ve really grown it, and each year we put more and more emphasis on the quality of the crafts. It’s all handmade. For me, there’s nothing like seeing our historic riverside come alive with these incredible local artisans. Seeing all the creativity, and especially the joy of handmade items is really special. It’s a day full of color, craft, and community.”
The Arts and Crafts Festival is Saturday, August 23 at from 10 am until 4 pm at Mabee Farm Historic Site, the oldest farm in the Mohawk Valley (1705), located in Rotterdam Junction, NY.
