NYC Top Real Estate Deals: Tuesday, June 24, 2025

There were 105 deals recorded, totaling about $163 million, in New York City on June 24.
🏆Residential: The top residential sale recorded in New York City was for a Tribeca condominium. Robert Chiaramonte and Molly Chiaramonte, an executive at a biotechnology firm, sold their unit at 15 Leonard Street for $7.8 million to Michael Boyle and Lior Bechar. The apartment spans about 2,600 square feet, pricing the deal at about $3,000 per square foot. The sellers first listed the unit in 2023 for $8.5 million. Jennifer Kalish and Sarah DiBattista had the listing.
🏆Commercial: The top commercial deal recorded in New York was in Times Square. Six commercial condominium units at 1619 Broadway, also known as the Brill Building, sold for $28.8 million. The seller was a company tied to Mack Real Estate Group. The buyer was a company tied to John Gore, a Broadway producer. Gore’s company, the John Gore Organization, produced Tony award-winning shows like Oklahoma!, Moulin Rouge: The Musical and Dear Evan Hansen. The Brill Building stands 11 stories tall and dates to 1931.
📊Residential: Investment banker Jon Huerta parted with a co-op at 70 Thomas Street in Tribeca, which appears to be a combined duplex, for $5.7 million. The buyer was a company linked to Yaniv Tal. Huerta bought one of the units in 2012 for $1.4 million and the other in 2020 for $2.2 million.
📊Residential: Edward Lee and Chaeree Kwon scooped up a condo at 1 West End Avenue in Lincoln Square for $3.6 million. The seller was Keisha Smith, the chief people and culture officer at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Smith, who paid about the same amount for the unit in 2017, put the condo on the market in December for just under $4 million. Smith’s agents were Compass’ Victoria Shtainer, Janina McCormack, Travonté Taylor and Marcus Shtainer.
📊Residential: The estate of William Grinker, a social justice advocate who died in 2023, sold a co-op at 9 Prospect Park West in Park Slope for $3.4 million, its asking price. The buyers were Matthew and Victoria Keller. The three-bedroom home spans 2,500 square feet. The transaction pencils out to about $1,360 per square foot. Compass’ Jessica Fields, Brad Bateman, Belle Caplis and Cristina Criado had the listing, which went live in February.
