A new luxury residential tower in Midtown East just launched a lottery for 59 mixed-income apartments. Located at 300 East 50th Street, Anagram Turtle Bay is a 23-story residential building providing tenants a hotel-inspired lifestyle with luxurious amenities and spacious residences. New Yorkers earning 70 and 130 percent of the area median income can apply for the units, priced from $1,644/month studios to $4,415/month two-bedrooms.
Developed by MAG Partners in collaboration with Global Holdings and Sanafad, the building includes 194 units, 30 percent of which are designated affordable under the Affordable NY program, along with 4,888 square feet of ground-floor retail, according to the project page.
The building, designed by BKSK Architects, features a prominent corner presence and verticality emphasized by intricate masonry that blends the architectural character of Midtown East and the Upper East Side.
Spanning three floors, amenities include a gym, media room, party room, business center, rooftop terrace, and outdoor green space, as well as bike storage lockers, a recycling center, a shared laundry room, and concierge service. The building also offers community events and classes, plus pet-friendly policies.
The ground floor will also be home to Serafina Mare, a seafood restaurant from the Serafina Group. Scheduled to open in fall 2026, the restaurant will offer residents perks like room service and exclusive discounts, according to CityRealty.
The apartments offer thoughtful layouts with oversized windows, high-end kitchen appliances, premium countertops and finishes, hardwood floors, in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, and private patios or balconies in select units.
Nearby public transit includes the 6, E, and M subway lines, along with the M15, M15-SBS, and M50 bus routes.
The building topped out in May 2024, with facade installation completed in January 2025. The site previously housed a row of low-rise buildings, according to Yimby.
