NYC Top Real Estate Deals: Tuesday, June 17, 2025


There were about 180 deals recorded, totaling about $263.5 million, in New York City on June 17. 

🏆Residential: The top residential deal recorded in New York City was on the Upper West Side. Malika Mehrotra and Rohan Mehra scooped up a condominium unit at 210 West 77th Street for $8.3 million, about 18 percent less than its prior trade price. The seller, Zuko Holdings LLC, paid $10.1 million for the pad in 2017. The five-bedroom apartment measures about 3,400 square feet, pricing the latest transaction at more than $2,400 per square foot.

🏆Commercial: The top commercial deal recorded in the city was for an elementary school building at 1529-1535 Williamsbridge Road in the Bronx that traded for $15.9 million. The site, bought by David Umansky’s Civic Builders, is the former location of the Democracy Prep Elementary School. The building stands two stories tall and spans about 32,000 square feet. An adjacent parking lot off Poplar Street was also included in the deal. Rakow Group’s Niko Rossi had the listing. The sellers were companies tied to Anthony Martello.

📊Commercial: The Bard Graduate Center picked up two four-story adjacent walkups at 43 and 45 West 86th Street on the Upper West Side for $13.5 million. The seller, a company linked to Regals Capital, paid $11.2 million for the site in 2007.

📊Commercial: In Flushing, a company tied to Barone Management sold a parking lot at 22-29 90th Street, which is next to a hotel near La Guardia Airport, for $9.6 million. The buyer was a company linked to Adam Gordon’s Wildflower. The parcel at one point was part of the hotel, which sold for $53 million in 2022.

📊Commercial: In Canarsie, a truck leasing location and adjacent lot at 8215 Foster Avenue traded for $7.6 million. The sellers were a group of Boca Raton-based companies managed by Barry Haskell, president of Mendon Truck Leasing and Rental. The buyer was Monk Holdings Corp.

📊Residential: Sutton East Holdings LLC purchased a condo at 430 East 58th Street in Sutton Place for $7.7 million. The three-bedroom, 2,300-square-foot unit hit the market in April for $8.3 million. JVP Development and Gamma Real Estate developed the luxury property, known as Sutton Tower. Corcoran’s Kristen Suh had the listing.

📊Residential: Michael and Jacqueline Mayo — he is a Wall Street analyst and she is a doctor — parted with a 3,400-square-foot townhouse at 181 East 80th Street on the Upper East Side for $7 million. The buyer was a company tied to developer Orin Wilf, who recently sold off a Midtown Manhattan mansion at 9-11 West 54th Street for $38 million.
