Motorola Edge 60 Stylus render shows that Moto is bringing the stylus to the mid-range

Is Samsung thinking of ditching the S Pen? Maybe not, but the stylus on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a lot less functional than the one on its predecessors – going back to 2018’s Note9. Not that there is much competition from other phones with a built-in stylus, right? Other than Motorola’s Moto G Stylus models, but those teeter between entry-level and mid-range.
Motorola may be changing tack – Evan Blass shared a render of what should be the Moto Edge 60 Stylus. Unlike the G-series, the Edge phones range from mid-range to flagship.
Another difference is that the Moto G Stylus phones tend to be available only in the US, while the Edge Stylus will be widely available, rumors claim. How widely is another topic, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra wasn’t available in the US, for example.

Earlier today we saw a massive leak covering the Moto Edge 60 series prices. The Edge 60 Stylus is said to be a variant of the vanilla Edge 60. The vanilla phone will cost €380, while a more capable Pro model will be available for €600. It’s possible that the Stylus will fall somewhere in between.
Anyway, the render shows that the bottom side of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus will be home to not only the stylus in question, but also to a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s not clear whether this will have a microSD slot, though – Moto G Stylus phones typically do, Moto Edge phones typically don’t.
Either way, this could be a unique device – a mid-range phone with a built-in stylus. There’s no word on when Motorola will unveil the Edge 60 series, but prices are one of the last things to be nailed down. If prices have leaked, unveiling can’t be far off.
