Joe Burrow has heated exchange with Bengals coach Zac Taylor

Joe Burrow’s latest monster day of offense still wasn’t enough to make the Bengals quarterback happy — and he let his coach know it.

Burrow and Cincinnati coach Zac Taylor were caught by the Fox cameras having a heated exchange on the bench that saw the frustrated star drop multiple F-bombs late in the fourth quarter of the Bengals’ 37-27 win over the Titans on Saturday.

“F–king embarrassing” Burrow appeared to say with the Bengals up 37-21.

Burrow later appeared to add, ‘F–k that” and “we sucked today.”

Burrow completed 26-of-37 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns but also threw two interceptions.

During the game, he broke his franchise record for touchdown passes in a season with 36.

It was the sixth straight game he has thrown three touchdown passes or more, with all of these coming in the first half.

The Bengals were also flagged 14 times in a game that saw 10 combined turnovers.

When asked about the outburst after the game, Burrow pointed to the team’s lack of crispness on offense.

“I was just frustrated in the day that we had,” Burrow said. “It was too sloppy. We had too many penalties, too many procedural penalties. I had too many turnovers. It was just a frustrating day on offense.”

Taylor didn’t go into detail about his conversation with Burrow.

“Just a conversation back and forth,” Taylor told reporters when asked about the exchange.

It’s been a frustrating season for the Bengals, who sit at 6-8 and well out of the AFC playoff picture despite Burrow playing at an MVP-type level.

They haven’t been able to dig out of the hole from their 1-4 start.
